This infectious disease causes blisters and swellings on foot. Athlete’s foot also causes redness of the foot and the temptation to itch all the time.
Causes of Athlete’s Foot
The causes of athlete’s foot are ignored by a lot of women. This infection develops in warm and moist conditions provided to the foot of the person. For taking care of their feet, a lot of women wear socks all the time. They often moisturize their feet before wearing the socks. Moisture and warmth of the socks provide the best conditions for the infection to develop and grow if the socks aren’t taken off soon enough.
When the conditions are suitable, the fungus called trychophyton rubrum starts growing at the foot of the woman. Most of the time, this infection develops on the dead skin of the toes or heel.
Symptoms of Athlete’s Foot
Since athlete’s foot is an infectious disease, the symptoms of the infection vary from person to person depending upon the skin texture of the person. However, the following symptoms are common among people:

Peeling of the skin
Scaling of the skin
Burning sensation felt on foot
Redness of the skin
Softening of the ends of toes and heels
Development of blisters
